      Disposition:
      Broken
Ardyn died a broken shell of the man he once was, insane and driven to violence by centuries of torture. He went from the ultimate determined pacifist before his torture to a twisted farce of a man afterwards. He is not whole, but made of hundreds of fragments, and likely never will be completely whole again.

      Driven and Passionate
Ardyn is a determined person. Whether facing torture, facing disease, or even facing death, he holds himself as together as he can and marches forward. This was seen in the fact that when he was tortured, by the gods no less, it took hundreds of years and a lot of emotional pressure to break him. He was willing to take on the scarscourge for hundred of other people. It took a lot for Noctis to kill him, too. Now that he's completed his path, his mind will settle on a new one, and it will take a lot to get him off it.

Ardyn is willful, possessive, and cruel, but below all that, he is PASSIONATE AS HELL. Even before, when he was a compassionate healer, his strength of will was undeniable, and he points himself on a path that he feels strongly about always.

      Corrupted
Though this overlaps with broken, there's more to it than that. Ardyn was once a pure human soul, capable of healing nearly any injury or disease. Rage changed him, as did partially absorbing the minds of countless others. Throughout the game, where once he was honest and forthright, he is two-faced, duplicitous, and daemonic. He is no longer human, no longer a healer, and certainly no longer pure.

      Manipulative
Ardyn can play nice... if it suits his purposes. He helped Noctis at the beginning of the game, only to learn his weaknesses and turn on him. He hurts and abuses, he acts normal one minute and then whirls about and hurts others. He's willing to play people like a fiddle, corrupt them, ruin them, all to reach his goals. He's not a nice person!

      Suitability:
Ardyn may initially seem unsuitable for such a game, but his manipulative nature means he wears a mask of comfort with others. And frankly... He's lost his edge. His role is done, his vengeance failed, and, most importantly, he's accepted this. He accepted his role long ago; its termination was inevitable. He hoped against hope that it wouldn't be, but he knew, in his heart of hearts, that when he became the monster, he was doomed to die. He's over it.

In addition, and this is a stretch, he might even be able to recover somewhat. Making meaningful personal connections is something he's denied himself for a very, very long time. He has a chance to move on. He has a chance to do better, especially if his starscourge doesn't come with him, giving his soul a chance to recover.

      Condition upon arrival:
Post-death. Not exactly mortally wounded, not anymore, but beaten up. Daemonified. Tired. Sick with starscourge, which only he can cure, and only in others. But smiling.

Abilities: He can summon a variety of weapon, and erect large force fields. He can teleport and fly. He can infect others with starscourge (which I have a permission post for, and am ok with having nerfed as it may have gone away with his death), turning them into daemons and absorbing fragments of their memory. He can technically sympathetically heal others by taking on their injuries and illnesses, though he cannot resurrect them, but doesn't heal much anymore. He can use magic, up to and including meteoric magic on a small scale. He is immortal, and knows the language of gods. He can ignore pain.

In more mundane terms, his talents include manipulation and coordination, as well as combat ability. He can drive.

Inventory: The clothes on his back and a scream in his heart, as well as potentially a demiplane of spiritual weapons

      Gembond: Ruby
Gem Location: Just above the collarbone's center

      Sample: TDM here!

Notes: Please please please nerf his powers. He's a final boss, and doesn't need to be as strong with magic as he is. Honestly, removing the starscourge and leaving him with only minor magic, one sword, and healing powers might be a good plan.
