Canon Point Immediately post-death in main timeline
Age: 2033 (Looks early 30s)
Appearance:
6'2", red of hair and amber of eye, with a slightly pale complexion. Sometimes inky darkness spreads across his skin, and his eyes turn golder.
Abilities: Ardyn has the power of kings, as well as the starscourge corruption. The former allows him to warp through space, summon weapons, and wield the royal arms, the weapons of former kings. He can wield all 13 at once, which is called the armiger, and summon a corrupt version of the Wall, a giant protector. He can also manifest his own sword, the rakshasa blade, and a red scythe in combat.
Starscourge gives him another suite of powers: he can turn people into daemons, absorbing their memories. HE WILL HAVE A SPECIFIC PERMISSIONS POST FOR THIS. In his current state, post-death, he is less willing to do this. He is a daemon himself, and thus doesn't eat, drink, or sleep when he doesn't want to.
Ardyn can temporarily halt time and assume the form of another with powerful magic. He can use typical FF magic (thunder-thundaga, fire-firaga, etc) as well. He can cast meteor. He's been shown to fire blasts of energy from his hands that knock people back. He can teleport and fly in a miasma form. He can communicate by projecting his thoughts as an omnipresent voice, and warp people's perceptions; the implication is that he is outwardly telepathic, but not able to read minds.
Also, he can heal, absorbing injuries and diseases into himself. He hates doing this at this point.
He is no longer truly immortal, but he's damn hard to kill.
